1. Introduction

It is our hope, in this message, to shed some additional light on the prophecies of the 2300, 1290, 1335 and 1260 day periods. Please read the chapters listed above and the 2300 Day Prophecy article before studying this message. There is much information to be absorbed here. No human being can claim to have all of the answers. We at AVITW-USA certainly do not make that claim. However, we do believe we have some interesting points to be considered.

2. The 2300 Day Period

Studying the 2300 day prophecy in Daniel Chapter 8, we see three events occurring in the space of two thousand and three hundred days. One event is the daily sacrifice being taken away. Another event is the transgression of desolation. The third event is the cleansing of the sanctuary.

Daniel 8: 9: And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
10: And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.
11: Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
12: And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
13: Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
14: And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
15: And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.

At this point, we can claim to know a few facts.

At this point, we cannot be certain, whether the daily sacrifice stoppage or the transgression came first; but, more on this later.

3. The 1290 Day Period

Daniel 11: 31: And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

Daniel 12: 11: And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

More important facts to note:

4. The 1335 Day Period

Daniel 12:11 tells us of the 1290 day time period between the polluting of the sanctuary and the abomination of desolation. If we look one verse further, we see a 1335 day period being spoken of:

Daniel 12: 11: And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12: Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

The “man clothed in linen” was speaking to Daniel in verse 11 about the 1290 days. The very next verse, Daniel was told about a 1335 day period. We, at AVITW-USA, do not believe verses 11 and 12 are random bits of unconnected information. We believe they are tied together. How? The start of the 1290 day period points to the polluting of the sanctuary. Twelve Hundred Ninety days later, the abomination of desolation gets “placed.” If they both start at the same reference point, that is, the polluting of the sanctuary, then 1335 days after, there is a blessing that awaits those who arrive at that time period. Notice, 1335 days is just 45 days more than 1290 days. Oddly enough, there are 45 days from the beginning of The Last Day of Unleavened Bread to the end of Pentecost in some years, and 45 days from the beginning of The Last Day of Unleavened Bread to the beginning of Pentecost in other years. See the summary, for some final thoughts on the 1335 day period.

5. The 1260 Day Period

Scripture tells of a thousand two hundred and threescore day period. We also see this called; “forty and two months” and “time, and times, and half a time.” From the following text, we see four things that happen during this period.

Revelation 11: 2: But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
3: And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4: These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5: And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6: These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7: And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

Revelation 12: 6: And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Revelation 13: 1: And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2: And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3: And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4: And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5: And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to CONTINUE forty and two months.

There is yet one more scripture we need to look at, and that is Matthew 24. Jesus said:

Matthew 24: 15: When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, LET HIM UNDERSTAND:)
16: Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19: And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20: But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

The reason we, at AVITW-USA, think Matthew 24 is so important is, Jesus talks of the abomination of desolation being placed or stood up in the holy place. But, what is the abomination of desolation that gets placed??? Read Revelation 13:14-15.

Revelation 13: 14: And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15: And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

It is an image of the Beast!!! The Beast (little horn) dares to make the claim, he is God! Those that do not worship the beast and his image, in obedience to the First and Second Commandments, will be sought to be killed!

We believe, the command to flee into the mountains immediately after seeing the abomination of desolation, begins the 1260 day (42 month period). Matthew 24 says; this will be a period of time of great tribulation, never before seen on earth. It is the belief of AVITW-USA, this is the very time the Woman will be taken into the wilderness; a place of safety. Satan will try to kill her by means of a flood as she escapes, but he will be unsuccessful (Revelation 12:14-17).

The Two Witnesses come on the scene to prophecy for 42 months. The Beast will receive his power from Satan to rule / CONTINUE 42 months. Remember, the Beast came out of the bottomless pit at an earlier time. He polluted the sanctuary and then set up the abomination of desolation in the holy city. At the end of the 42 months, the Beast will kill the Two Witnesses (Revelation 11:7).

6. Summary

We have noted the time spans and how they relate to Yahweh's Feast days. These are some of our observations. In some sacred years the following occurs:

For these reasons, we believe the following is most likely:

As mentioned earlier, the difference in time, between the 1290 day and 1335 day time periods, results in 45 days. We understand from Matthew 24:15-21, point #2 is where the abomination of desolation gets “set up.” At this same time, the Woman (church) is commanded to flee to the “wilderness of the people,” where she will be protected for a time of 42 months. Scripture is showing us, the abomination could get “placed” at the Last Day of Unleavened Bread. Possibly, as the Sabbath comes to a close, the woman flees to the mountains. Forty-Five days later, the church finds its self all assembled, safe and secure, as they celebrate the Day of Pentecost together. Remember, when the 1335 day time frame is reached, there awaits an enormous spiritual blessing (Daniel 12:12). We think it is possible, it could take most of the 45 days for all of the church members to flee into the wilderness. Matthew 24 tells us to pray that our flight be not in winter nor on a Sabbath day. If the church's fleeing starts after the Days of Unleavened Bread and before Pentecost, this prayer would be answered.

Daniel 12: 12: Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

During the 1260 day period, there will be great tribulation such as was not since the beginning of the world. This time will be shortened for the elects sake.

Matthew 24: 21: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22: And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

We all need to continually ask Yahweh for understanding of these end-time events. His prophecies were meant to be understood in their proper time. Pray, as we do, to be among those that will understand and are able to be prepared. Sadly, most of this world's population could not care less about this vitally important issue.

AMEN
