Text Based On Matthew Chapter 11
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are
heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Where The Sabbath Never Shall Close
Softly fades the twilight ray,
Of the holy Sabbath day;
Gently as life's setting sun,
When the Christian's course is run.
Peace is on the world abroad,
Tis the holy peace of God;
Symbol of the peace within,
When the spirit rests from sin.
Still the Spirit lingers near,
Where the evening worshipper
Seeks communion with the skies,
Pressing onward to the prize.
Dear Savior dear, may all Thy Sabbaths be
Days of Thy harmony and joy in Thee!
Till in Thy house our souls find sweet repose,
Where all Thy Sabbaths ne'er shall close.
