Holding the mystery of the faith
in a pure conscience.
How Can I, Lord, Keep My Way Pure?
How can I, Lord, keep my way pure?
To Thy word I must be true.
So I seek Thee with my whole heart;
Do not let me stray from Thee.
Thy Word's hidden in my heart, Lord,
That I might not go astray.
Praise to Thee, O Lord, my Father;
Teach me Thy decrees each day.
With my lips I recount gladly
All Thy laws you've given to man.
I rejoice in all Thy statutes,
As in wealth too vast to scan.
Meditating on Thy precepts,
I consider all Thy ways.
I delight in Thy decrees, Lord;
Help me! Never turn away!
