And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost,
and began to speak with other tongues,
as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Thy Pentecost of Power
Lord, as of old, at Pentecost,
Thou didst Thy power display,
With cleansing, purifying flame,
Descend on us today.

Lord! — Send Thy old-time power,

Thy floodgates of blessing,
On us throw open wide!

That sinners be converted
And Thy Name glorified!
A mighty works for Thee, prepare
