In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,
at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound,
and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed.

Our Journey Ended

Sometime all sorrows will be o'er, sometime!
All earthly care will be known no more!
Oh, what rejoicing on that golden shore,
Sometime, sometime soon!

Sometime our loved ones we shall greet, sometime!
When in the Father's house we meet
Only to sit forever at His feet,
Sometime, sometime soon!

Sometime, when sets at last life's sun, sometime!
Our journey ended, labour done,
Oh, what a crown for every victory won,
Sometime, sometime soon!

Sometime, I know not when 'twill be, sometime!
My Lord will come again for me,
Then I shall reign with Him eternally.
