What shall we then say to these things?
If God be for us, who can be against us?

God’s Everlasting Love

God did not spare His only Son,
But gave Him up for every one,
To be our Savior and our King;
He freely gives us everything.

Not things to come nor life nor death,
No angels, powers, height nor depth;
For I’m persuaded by God above,
That none can change His lasting love.

If God be for us, who can stand,
He gives to us His guiding hand.
We’re more than conquerors by His will;
Forever He will love us still.

Shall tribulation or distress,
Divide us from His holiness?
Nor persecution or the sword,
Shall keep us from our loving Lord.
