her husband also, and he praiseth her.

Who can find a virtuous woman?
She’s worth more than gems of great price.
Trust is hers from the heart of her husband;
She does him well each day of her life.
Favour’s deceitful; beauty is vain.
She shall be praised who fears the Lord.
Give her the fruits of her own labour;
Yes, let her works give her praise in the gates.

Who can find a virtuous woman?
Wool and flax she seeks for her work.
Willingly busy, her hands hold the distaff;
All plainly see her product is good.
Clothing her family, dressing them well
She is prepared for winter and cold.
Her generous spirit teaches the needy;
Many do well, but she excels all.

Who can find a virtuous woman?
Bringing food like ships from afar.
Early she rises and serves a warm breakfast;
Planning the day with loving concern.
Daybreak to nightfall, every day counts;
Meeting each challenge finding success.
Planning a vineyard, selling to merchants,
Serving her family in every respect.

Who can find a virtuous woman?
Helpful kindness guides all her words.
Honour and strength give her cause for rejoicing.
Husband and child give praise that is due.
